Biology:
In Greece specimens were collected in May/June in Malaise traps; 40-60 m.
Diagnostic description:
Body black and shiny except for dark grey microtomentose abdomen. Proboscis with labium at most as long as head. Wing with vein R2+3 and R4+5 nearly parallel and close to each other. (Papp 1993)
