Female coloration and vestiture: frons nearly shiny black, ocellar triangle and orbital plates shiny black, lunule red brown, basoflagellomere basomedially yellow, face grey microtomentose, palpus yellow; thorax with mesonotum subshiny black, very weakly microtomentose, scutellum and pleura same, wing hyaline, veins yellow, brown spot at tip of vein R1 present, calypter white, halter yellow, legs black except for bases and tips of all tibiae and tarsi; abdomen with T2-5 shiny, except for subshiny anterior margins of T2-5 and middle of T2-4.
Morphology. Head: frons with 2+0.7 orbital and 2 frontal setae, anterior frontal seta medioclinate, arista about 3-4x as long as basoflagellomere wide, pubescence on arista short. Female posterior eye margin with notch (4-5oc) and emargination (1oc).
Thorax: 1 dc, 1 prsc, 1 pprn, 1+? prs, 2 keps setae, posterior prsc ?x as long as posterior dc, seta between posterior prsc and posterior dc absent. Wing with vein R4+5 and M1 very strongly converging (8.3), and ultimate section of vein M1 2.0x as long as penultimate section. Tibial organ ?.
