Milichiella inbio
Differs from congeners in the combination of slightly brown microtomentose mesonotum, 2 dc, 0 prs, T2-5 silvery microtomentose except for tip of T5.
Male coloration and vestiture: frons brown, ocellar triangle and orbital plates slightly brown microtomentose, lunule lighter?, basoflagellomere black, face greyish microtomentose, palpus black; thorax with mesonotum slightly brown microtomentose, scutellum and pleura same, wing hyaline with slight brownish tinge, vein brown black, brown spot at tip of vein R1 weak, calypter black, halter black, legs black except for lighter tips of femora and bases of tibiae, yellow tip of fore and mid tibia, and bases of all tarsi, fore and hind tarsus with yellow brush; abdomen with T2-5 silvery microtomentose except for black anterolateral corner of T2 and extended tip of T5 (var: T2 with brown microtomentose 'U').
Morphology. Head: frons with 2+0.5 orbital and 2+0.5 frontal setae, middle frontal seta medioclinate. In males frons 2.7x as wide at posterior margin than at base of antenna, arista about 5.2x as long as basoflagellomere wide, pubescence on arista very short, posterior eye margin with slight notch (3-4oc) and emargination (3oc).
Thorax: 2 dc, 2 prsc, 1 pprn, 0 prs, 2 keps setae, posterior prsc about as long as posterior dc, seta between posterior prsc and posterior dc present. Wing with vein R4+5 and M1 nearly parallel, and ultimate section of vein M1 3x as long as penultimate section. Fore femur normal setulose, tibial organ absent.
Male abdomen: posteromedial triangular projection of T1 into T2 very weak. Tergal chaetotaxy: T2 anterolateral corner mostly with 2 lines of setae but triangular extension with more setae, T2 posteromedial margin with 1, posterolateral margin with 2-3 rows of setulae, T3 posterior margin with 1 row of setulae. S5 1.3x as long as wide, 1.5x as long and 3.6x as wide as S4, roughly triangular, posteromedially strongly setulose. Male genitalia with apical seta on cercus longer than epandrial setae, 1 seta on subepandrial plate, surstylus 0.5x as long as epandrium high, bent posteriorly, dilated apically (1.9x), 4.0x as long as wide, structure of lateral surface smooth, medial surface with setulae along anterior margin.
