Biology

Collected near nest of Lasius fuliginosus ants

Diagnostic Description

4 dc; halter dark; legs black except for yellowish basitarsi; gena height about 0.3x eye height.

Morphology

Original description: Glänzend schwarz, auch die Schwinger; Füsse gelb. Nigra nitida; halteribus concoloribus; tarsis luteis. Gleicht der vorigen (P. securicornis), aber die Schwinger sind schwarz, so wie auch die Beine, nur die Füsse sind gelb. - Ich habe nur einmal das Weibchen gefunden; ob das Männchen auch beilförmige Fühler hat, weiss ich nicht. - 1 Linie.
